From our friends and relatives in Canada

Northern Lights over Yellowknife

THIS IS A FIRE RAINBOW - THE RAREST OF ALL NATURALLY OCCURRING ATMOSPHERIC PHENOMENA.

THE PICTURE WAS CAPTURED THIS WEEK ON THE IDAHO / WASHINGTON BORDER.
THE EVENT LASTED ABOUT 1 HOUR.

CLOUDS HAVE TO BE CIRRUS, AT LEAST 20K FEET IN THE AIR, WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF ICE CRYSTALS AND THE SUN HAS TO HIT THE CLOUDS AT PRECISELY 58 DEGREES.

Several people have asked about Juanita.
If you know, please use AskTell to let me know.

There seems to be some confusion about whether text sent via asktell will be posted on the web page.
If you ask that I Do Not post it, it will Not be posted.
Else: It is strictly up to me as to whether I post it or not!
If you ask that I do post it, and I find it suitable, then I may post it.

Do you know this person? I have been unable to send her a reply.

Some of you know that I am planning to move to the Cross F Ranch.
A lot of work needs to be done to the ranch house before I move. One of the problems to be solved is with the small animals that want to live under the house. I created a small series of pictures as part of finding a solution and some find those pictures interesting.
This link will take you to those pictures. RanchCritters
